All about Beto!

My poor Beto. I seem to forget about him at times. I know but with Breanna and her HSP and Julianna's arrival he gets lost in the mix. I'm so proud of him. His team won 1st place in there baseball tournament!!!!
On another note.... he has this obsession with writing his name on things with PERMANENT marker. He wrote on his couch, comforter, wall, and hardwood floor in his room. The latest is writing on my truck seats. I was pissed to say the least. So he was grounded for the week. No TV, no playing outside, and no electronics (ie: i-pod and DS). The second day I received this note on my chair. Delivered with an evil smile. Which by-the-way is still cute.

Just incase you can't read the note says: I'm sorry I wrote in your car. I will not talk to you until you "un grow" me.

I didn't talk to him that untill it was time to tuck him in and he gave me a big mushy kiss and says so am I ungrounded. This usually works but what he did was serious. So I didn't give in. He couldn't believe it. He then crossed his arms and said I'm writting you another note tomorrow. Beto is such a little fart. But he is so cute. He can get away with alot. Look at what he drew me for mothers day.

"The Chosen One"

Finally!!!! After many of test bottles.....Julianna is bottle feeding!!!!! Was it the expense born free glass bottle?????.....Of course not. It was the old school playtex bottle with the brown latex nipple. I'm still only feeding her breast milk. Thought it would never happen. I'm so happy:). Gives my breast a little rest. But for those of you that have seen me nurse Julianna you know she is such a vigorous eater. I wanted to get her use to the bottle so the transition of me returning to work would be an easy one. I must admit I spike her bottle with just a little rice.

Today I also went to Walmart and bought her a chupon. I just had it with the constant sucking. She hasn't taken to it well. We'll see what happens with that. Bre and Beto didn't use one.

Breanna Update: She is doing alittle better as far as pain goes. Since she is not going to school her swelling and drainage issues have subsided. Her wonderful teachers are willing and able to come to our house to teach her for a couple of hours in the evenings. I honestly thought teachers like that didn't exist anymore. Bre is lucky she has teachers that care. I'm so grateful. I think this is Breanna's way of boycotting Julianna's arrival ;).

I'm up to my old tricks. Dressing my babies like if they where my baby dolls. But I just can't help it. I have learned that they will grow up and wear whatever they want to wear and will not want to willingly match. So till then I'm going to have Julianna all bowed and ruffled out. I don't care how much she grunts with despise.

Our little one turns 1 month today.
Our little family has settled in quite well. Beto loves being a big brother. Breanna loves to take care of her and hold her. I can’t believe it’s been a month already. Time sure does fly by fast. I don’t miss work as much as I thought I was. I do talk to the girls at the office and they keep me in the loop on what is going on. It has been easier than I thought to let go.

Julianna has outgrown her newborn diapers and now using size 1. That’s bittersweet. I love to see her grow but at the same time it’s sad. My baby is growing up. Before you know it she will be fighting with her brother and sister and getting into all their stuff.

Julianna kept me up on Saturday night. I threaten to make her my only formula fed baby. I would nurse her…she would grunt and fuss. I was thinking she was hungry and maybe her breastaurant was closed, plugged up, or just plain empty. I tried to comfort her but she was fussy for about 20 minutes straight. Gave her gas medicine…Nothing. So I defrost some milk for her and tried to feed her with the bottle. NO LUCK. That was our first hard night. I was worried that something was wrong with her. But she finally calmed down and fell asleep. FYI…JULIANNA it’s suppose to get easier to get you to bed.

So far the hardest thing has been nursing. Not the actually act but just scheduling time to nurse. I don’t have any nursing tops yet. Which makes it hard to nurse in public. I ordered some online and hopefully they should be arriving sooner rather than later. Here in the states people still freak out when they see you nursing. I’m not sure why. I feel it’s as natural as you can get. My gosh the only reason God gave women boobs is to feed their little ones. But in the states boobs are associated so much with SEX. I don’t care I’m gonna pop it out whenever she is hungry. I’m not gonna flash people but come on my baby has to eat and why should we go hide in a room in exile.

Anaphylactoid Purpura Monday

So I had a great Monday today. First of all last night didn't get much sleep with a 3week newborn. Early this morning at 8:30 A.M. I get a call from Breanna's school nurse. Breanna has a rash on her leg and is itching. I said I know but its not contagious. (Breanna has been asking me if she could stay home with Julianna and I.) I agreed to pick her up. Prior to hanging up she in turn tells me you know I called your husband and he told me he was busy and to call him back. I asked her well did you state who you where. And she said YES MRS. KING just like I did with you when I called. I had to do everything to hold back my gangsta ways and not reply to that remark. I then text Jason "Thanks for nothing and I'm taking you off the list of people to call" I can be so mean. I know and accept this. But I was pissed. Who in there right mind does that? In his defense he said he thought it was Disney World(School's name is Walt Disney Elementary) calling regarding some type of special promotion). I call Bullshit.....However, he was busy at work due to the flooding that happen this weekend. Jason gets flustered when he is overwhelmed. So who knows.

Ohhh and Breanna got it to. Poor Child as soon as we got in the car I quickly told her that if she thought it was going to be an easy day she had another thing coming. I told her she would have to go to her room and stay there for the rest of the day and if she got hungry she should of stayed in school. School would of fed her but I'm not. I then looked at her legs (Looking back I should of done this first prior to reaming her) and her legs were much worse than last night. So I called her doctor which had no openings till tomorrow morning. Which meant she would of miss school today and tomorrow. So I called Diane to see if I could get her seen in her clinic and of course she said come on over.

Bre got blood drawn, her throat swabbed, and peed in a cup. Then the doctor said Breanna has Anaphylactoid Purpura.... and I said she has WHATA PURPURA!!! Well come to find out it sometype of illness in which blood vessels get inflamed. What caused it...nobody knows. They did test her urine and there was blood in her urine!!! That alone scares me. I had three questions for the doctor.
1. Was it contagious? (Answer: NO)
2. What do I do now? (Answer: See a kidney doc to rule out kidney damage)
3. How can I prevent this from happening again? (Answer: Nothing. You can't prevent it.)

Breanna loved all the attention. Breanna knows mostly everybody in the clinic because she helps out when Diane keeps her. We didn't get home till 1:00PM I had to leave the house at 2:30 PM to pick Beto up from school. So I nursed Julianna. Chilled for a bit and off we where to pick up Beto. After picking up Beto we went to buy the groceries for dinner this week. Came home made dinner, nursed Julianna again, got Beto ready for his game and loaded up the truck with stroller. I was out the door at 5:20PM. I felt like SUPERWOMEN!!!! Since I was pissed at Jason I was in my "WHO NEEDS A MAN" mood. I quickly get out of these moods on my own because I forget I'm mad at him and start talking to him. Then I remember I'm mad...........but by then its too late.
