Great Football Weekend....

Longhorns, Texans, Browns (Colt <3), and even the Cowboys won.  Make for one happy family and a Football Fantastic Weekend!  Breanna went to homecoming Friday.  I hated letting her go but I would of hated myself even more if I didn't.  You have to just let kids be kids.  When I was in 7th grade i went.  She had fun and her friend spent the night after.  Then Beto spent the night at the neighbors house.  He didn't come home till like 2PM the next day.  :(.....I swear the kids are growing up to freaking fast. 

I can't help myself!!!!  I gotta do a little dance when the longhorns win.  I love all my teams but my <3 is with the horns.  I love watching them.  They are a new team....the have a hard road ahead of them....and they have already come so far. 

My food of choice for the weekend was:

 This is Beto.....like always not wanting to eat....but like always i make him eat some....well he mostly just pushes the food around his plate.  He ate some...but not much :(

 

This cake doesn't look so pretty now...but oh my it tasted sooooo good!

Also had ground chicken nachos.  Shepherds pie was made with turkey meat and it tasted good.  I was so proud of my caldo.  It tasted just like my mommas.  My mom's cooking is always so simple but soooooo good.  I need to video tape her butt.  She doesn't ever follow receipes.  She just says some of this and some of that.  I hope I'm like that...one day. 

It was a raining off and on this weekend so I was wanting some fall cooking.  Can't wait till it gets alittle bit cooler...Chili, cornbread and football.....mmmmm...uuuummmmm

Passing the torch

 J was passing down the torch to Beto today.  Breanna decided to go to grandma's so Beto was helping me cook for the game.  One thing I don't even try to do is Jason's pico.  So J showed him the ropes. I love watching them in action.

Oh....and the Longhorns WON!!!!  by one but we WON...it was a struggle.  Gilbert wasn't getting the job done. Unfortunately, he was taken out of the game.  Then sadly to say....THE GAME TAKES OFF!

....I turned 35 today.  I don't feel 35.  I didn't fall apart this morning.  All is good.  Well, not all..... I still pee on myself constantly  :(  Which totally sucks, but hell you adapt.  I can't wait to see what I "adapt" to next. 

I got it in my head i was gonna go out every weekend of Sept.  Well I went out the first weekend...loved it....went out the 2nd weekend.....I've had enough man.  I even wanted to have a "cougar party" and wear leopard or cheetah.  Had my outfit and everything.  But at the end of the day I just wanted to be with the family for a low key day at home.  No expensive gifts no going to dinner and sit in a restaurant with a room full of strangers.  I want my family and I was hoping for a cake.  I ate two big pieces :D

I couldn't of asked for a better birthday.  I am blessed.

Jules:  (with a how dare you look) NO DAD-EEE I'm a princess!It makes me laugh every time. 

My poor honey Jules is sick sick sick.  I hate hate hate when the kids get sick.  The big ones or the little ones.  When they are sick they all revert to infants.  I always wish I could take their place.  I would do it without giving it any thought. 

My babies like to be catered to when they are sick.  They only want "momma momma momma" or Jules favorite "NO dadda..Momma do it".  No matter how tired i am or how many things i gotta do.  Momma always "do it".  A long weekend is ahead and I can't wait to spend time with my familia.  Nice long weekend, family, football, and cold beer; it doesn't get any better than that folks.

 I can't say it enough....I am truly blessed.
