Austin

We finally went back to Austin.  Trip was much overdue!  Jules, Vivi, and Natalie had a blast.  Hayden is getting so big.  She loved watching all the chaos.   We are due to see each other the next 2 months at least once in Feb., and 3 times in March.  So can't wait for more crazy times :D. 

There is still some unresolved grown up business but.....all is good in my heart and mind.  I'm guessing & hoping time will make better. 

Sorry for the lack of pictures but my phone camera isn't working and I was too busy enjoying the kiddos that I didn't bring out my camera...but next time for sure!

Crazy Kids

Jules, Vivi, & Nana pretending to be turtles so they won't have to go to bed.  So right after dinner we sit/skip/dance in a circle and sing some Bible songs.  Then we play some games.  My attempt  to use whats left of what seems to be my kids everlasting energy.  We play red light green light,  red rover, and duck, duck, goose.  The kids love it.  The little ones love duck, duck, goose. 

Our cut back on TV watching is rolling along fine.  Once we all get home, get dinner ready, eat, get the kids showered, circle of songs, play games, we say our prayers together in the living room, do stickers books, go potty one last time, get the little ones to bed, read the girls a book, and give kisses.  WHEW.....i'm beat.  My brain needs quite time.  I go to my bedroom to read and blog. 

This is a pic that I snapped of Beto coming out of the shower.  It's a rule that I must smell his hair after he shower...boys are so gross sometimes.

Going Strong

Sticker books still a big hit.  So we have started to introduce "Jesus loves me", "The B-I-B-L-E", "If you are happy if you know it", "This little light of mine" and other church songs I grew up with to the kids.  The older kids know most of them....but not all.  The girls love them.  We sit in a circle and sing and they soak it all in.  Love that.  We had a low key weekend.  Just alot of family time.  Next weekend we are going to Austin.  So I better get to packing.

Too Busy 2 post but here is a video

Oh and this quick blurb....well I've always wanted to go TV-less but I just couldn't imagine.  But this week we have been turning the TV off after dinner.  It's been great  exceptional.  Even though I have missed watching my DVR Ellen shows :(  Today Jason went to a school meeting regarding rezoning and the kids wanted to eat in the living room I was like ok...but no TV (we try not to watch TV during dinner).  I read a few scriptures and we talked about them. It was less informal and I think less intimidating.

Nani, my sweet dear friend, came from okc to stay for an entire week.  I had to franchise on this and invite The Allens over for dinner!  I hardly get her to myself.  When we do see each other we are surrounded by so many people and can't get too personal.  :-(So much has changed with both of us.   We use to get dolled up to hit the town.  Now we both just want nothing but sleep,and some peace & quite.  We both have changed so much but are still the same.  I'm so grateful for her friendship.  I absolutely love her!  Here are some pics of our visit.  We were busy talking so we didn't get many pics.  We talked till the 1AM....hey at least that hasn't changed :-)

Beautiful Days

The temperatures have been fabulous so we find ourselves outdoor more often.  This weekend we have been skating, scootering, and just enjoying this awesome wheather God has blessed us with.  I love when season change.

 So on this day Breanna asked to be a "walker" from school.  We said yes.  She was suppose to walking home with "Hayden" this boy.  So this park is on her way home.  So I decided to "check it out".  Yea SPY!  I wanted to see how far they walked from each other...or how close.  Hand holding?  Well.....nada..."Hayden" left early to go to a dentist appt.  UGH!  I so wanted to SPY.  But oh well she was happy to us and we had a good time.
