Best Big Sister Ever!

Breanna my oldest had her appt with her renal doctor today. It was a bittersweet appt. Got bad news for long term. She will have to take blood pressure meds for the rest of her life. Which is alarming considering she is 11 years old. Doctor also went on to say breanna will need to watch her alcohol drinking when she grows up as that can affect her kidneys. Hopefully Bre won't be like her mama ;-). On the bright side her biopsy results showed no new/acute scaring so they are gonna taper of steroids. :) I know this battle is gonna be a long one and one I'm willing to fight head on. I just want it to go away!!!!

My baby girl cooked a cake for dessert tonight. It was delicious!

Camera isn't working

Camera isn't working so you will just have to settle with my ramblings.  Only had one New Years resolution.  Find a church that everybody will enjoy.  Problem:  Jason will only go to a catholic church!  AND I don't understand the whole ritual of catholic church.  Stand up, sit down, kneel, and the chants drive me crazy.  I'm not gonna chant something just to chant it and because everybody else is doing it.  I'm just not.  If I understood maybe I would but I have no clue.  The kids love going to church with Grandma.  I know its something they need in there lives.  I know its the thing missing in mine.  But I want to go to church for the right reasons and not just to routinely go and say I'm a good person  because I go to church.  I want to go to church for ME.  I want to relate to the sermon and apply it my life and be a better person for it.  God and I have this ongoing conversation and he is right because I haven't really tried. So I'm going to try. 

Great Time

We had a great time this memorial day weekend.  Saturday we went to a pretty neat water park.  We went with Aunt Lori, Uncle Eric and Cousin Natalie.  Jules is starting to get excited when we tell her Natalie is gonna be around.  Nat and Jules wore the same swimsuit.  It was so cute.  It was unplanned.  The waterpark wasn't too small nor too big.  I wasn't worried to much about the big kids.  Breanna is starting to be more social.  She has always been alittle shy to approach new people but this weekend she was making friends left and right.  It seemed like everytime I saw her she was talking to somebody new.  Beto has always been able to make friends easily.  Jules as usually chilled in the shade.  Didn't give me any trouble.  Jules like to walk around more than be in the water.  We were in the lazy river for a while and she was falling asleep.  Which I could of but kept having images of her slipping away.  Sorry no pictures but my camera is on the fritz.  Super Bummer for me because I love taking pictures of the kids.  

Sunday the kids had a blast.  They went to "Uncle Chuck's" lake house.  The house is awesome the scenery was gorgeous.  Uncle Chuck has a trapeze over his dock and Beto loved it.  Bre not so much.  Julianna went on her 1st boat ride.  I didn't get to go since I was with Vivianna.  But I'm sure Jules loved it.  She wasn't to sure when we got in the lake.  We were in this big floaty thing right by the dock.  I think the size of the lake intimates her. 

Natalie and Jules wore the some of the same outfits it was so cute.  I so hated I couldn't use my camera!  Time for a new one.  When it rains it pours :(

La Playa

Today we went to the beach!!!  Was a perfect sunny day.  We didn't leave till 11AM.  I usually like to leave the house by 9AM but just didn't happen.  I don't sweat things like that anymore.  I never worry about time unless somebody is waiting on us.  I think its inconsiderate if you comment to something and don't follow through.   We started out having our dessert at Rainforest Cafe.  We always order "The Volcano".  The kids love it.  This was Jules and Vivi's 1st time.  Vivianna just chilled in her carseat.  I was wondering if Jules would like it.  She did.  She loved the fishes as we walked in and then loved the monkeys.  She didn't like the snake out in the shop.  As you can see by the pictures.

Julianna is always non-stop.  She goes and goes and goes and goes.  Since she has been crawling she has been putting everything in her mouth.  Why i would think it would be any different at the beach was foolish of me.  This girl eats the sand.  Not once, not twice but every chance she gets.  Bre and Beto were going a little bit further than I liked.  We had to keep a close eye on them.  Beto was in waves that covered his head.  Vivianna just enjoyed the fresh air and sun.  The beach is not as relaxing as I remember.  I wonder why? ;)
