Vacation oh vacation come back 2 us

These days seem so long ago I'm ready to go again!!!!!!   Somewhere....anywhere with my family!  No make up, packing light, didn't even pack my hair dryer!  With my curly hair is insane! So enjoyed my little family, the beach, and some fun!   It was so liberating! 

I read a total of 4 romance novels.  That was nice within itself.  Reminded me of my younger days when I went to the beach by myself to catch some rays with nothing but a towel, my boom box, and a  good book. 

The kids had a blast my most favorite part is the seclusion.  Most of the time we were the only ones on the beach.  

We also saw so much wildlife!

It rained a lot but cleared up pretty fast when it did.

Our dog for the week!  My kind of dog we play and have fun with him and somebody else cleans and takes care of him (kinda like a nanny, but for dogs...hmm)

Ponyville!

These days I feel like I live in Ponyville.  Well since we had some gift cards, we decided to go out for dinner and take the kids to build-a-bear since they had twilight-sparkle and spike (Jules received rainbow dash for her birthday from mamaw).  I'm not a fan of taking all the kids to the mall and I remember why. OMGosh somebody please stop me next time.   It was chaotic but it was fun watching the kids enjoy themselves.

Camping

We for a camping trip.  It was peaceful and a nice little getaway.   I read two short books while floating in the river. The river was low but it was just right for the little ones.   The big kids got to slow down and just enjoy the simple things.  No Xbox nor iPad.  Phones had bad connection.

Not enough room in the living room for all of us.  So after everybody was situated I escaped to my room with dinner a drink and a good book.  my kinda perfect :)

The kids got new sleeping buddies.  They got time to reconnect with each other.   

The kids got to experience what it's like going to a laundry mat.  They had laundry facility with books and games.  All on the honor system.    

Oh and one more little factoid I went sunbathing topless (enter gasp). Yep I sure did.  Bre was mortified.  Beto and the girls were back at the cabin.  

On our way into austin we stopped at space caverns inn.   It was a nice adventure.
